My blog has gone without much updates over the last year- this is primarily because of two reasons. The first reason is that I do not want to flood this site with relatively boring stuff as found on many other blogs. Secondly, I do have a decent amount of classwork and projects going on year round.
Everyone can expect to see a handful of updates over the next fews months which will cover my upcoming summer trip, the progress of my high mileage vehicle projects, and slowly more bi-lingual areas of the website (in Russian). The site will also be receiving some much needed attention in its design and appearance.
Next week, the updates should start rolling, and that is when I will begin posting coverage about my future three month position on the Logos Hope (www.LogosHope.org).
Lastly, over spring break, I made a another road trip out to the southwest and saw some arguably cool stuff. So what is this dish thing in the picture? It is one of twenty-seven dishes which form the famous Very Large Array in New Mexico. The array has been featured in a variety of sci-fi movies and is usually referenced to be part of SETI. It is true that the array has once been used to investigate a SETI signal or two, but its primary purpose has always been to study various astronomical sciences.
Stay tuned for more updates in the near future!
